Also making its Grand Rapids debut is Jeffery Hatcher’s stage adaptation of Mitch Albom’s TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE, based on the New York Times best selling book and the Emmy Award-winning television movie. It’s an autobiographical story of an accomplished journalist reuniting with his old professor who is battling Lou Gehrig’s Disease. What starts as a simple visit, turns into a weekly pilgrimage and a final lesson in the meaning of life. This production of Mitch Albom’s work continues the relationship Circle Theatre started with the writer in 2006 when the company produced Albom’s play Duck Hunter Shoots Angel.
