Each summer, Circle Theatre produces five main stage productions from May through September - including three musicals and two plays - performing more than sixty performances and playing to over 20,000 local audience members a year.

Circle Theatre also produces one Magic Circle family production each year.  Focusing on the re-telling of classic stories, myths and fairytales for a modern, youthful audience, Magic Circle introduces young audiences to the experience of live theatre. 

For the concert lovers, Circle Theatre's Summer Concert Series showcases many of the area's best artists performing different genres of music from Motown to Arena Rock to Country and gives audiences an opportunity to experience live performances in an up-close and personal setting.

It’s 1935, and racial tensions are high in Maycomb, Alabama. Nonetheless, young Scout, as she is fondly called, manages to live a rather carefree, privileged existence, insulated from issues of race. All that changes when Scout watches her father, Atticus Finch, defend an innocent man, Tom Robinson, against a potential death sentence, which looms threateningly against him because of prejudice due to race. Scout begins to realize that just because society portrays something as being true doesn’t mean that it actually is fact. With the the help of Atticus, and her older brother Jem, Scout learns that “growing up” often means doing what is right, even when it comes at great cost. To Kill A Mockingbird is now considered an American masterpiece about the power of childhood innocence, morality, and love.

Rated: PG-13; Thematic material, some language, and mild references to rape
